Bonjour, olá, hello!
If you've ever struggled to explain where you're "really" from, we'll get along. I grew up between continents, and now I help brands do the same.
Born in Portugal, raised in the French Caribbean by two African parents, I grew up between continents and never really felt the need to call one country ‘‘home’’. My first best friend was Greek, I studied between the US and France, interned in Japan, and my favorite city in the world is Rome!
After studying Political Science in a Dual Degree Program that allowed me to grow alongside students from the four corners of the world, and following up with a Master’s in International Relations, I realized that I wanted to use my strengths and help brands navigate an increasingly complex world.
My path since then hasn’t been linear, but it’s been intentional. Working in media, communications and content taught me how to craft stories under real constraints, across cultures, platforms and audiences, and how to translate between creative and strategy, and between what a brand wants to say and what people are ready to hear.
Today, I work as an international content strategist, helping brands articulate who they are and adapt their communication to new cultural contexts without losing their essence. My core expertise sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling and content, and I collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure ideas land visually, emotionally and culturally. The goal is always the same: communication that feels grounded, authentic, and complex. Just like the human experience.
I won silver at a US national collegiate taekwondo tournament (yes, really).
I produced a talk-show pilot on African/Afro-Caribbean music that sadly never aired, but that taught me a lot about creative production.
I love playing video games, and my first console was a Game Boy Color!
I love anime and Japanese culture, and I don’t shy off from the ‘‘otaku’’ label.
I am a big 2000s Bollywood fan, and I can sing ‘‘Bole Chudiyan’’ from memory…
