TRACE TV | Multi-Market Content Production
How to showcase 27 different channels and music genres within 1 brand voice?
Supervised production of demo videos for 27 specialized music channels across different cultural markets
Content reached 1M+ viewers across Europe, Africa, Caribbean, and Latin America
Managed content strategy ensuring cultural authenticity for each channel's audience
Below, you’ll find examples for 3 different channels: TRACE Caribbean (French & English Caribbean music), TRACE Urban (French & US rap and hip-hop), and TRACE Latina (Latin music)
TRACE is a global music and entertainment network with 27 TV channels, each dedicated to a different music style and cultural market, from Congolese rumba to Nigerian Afrobeats, from American pop music to Caribbean reggae. I led the production of demo videos designed to introduce each channel to new audiences and deepen engagement with existing viewers across TRACE's 30-country footprint.
I wrote scripts for each channel, captured its specific vibe, chose music clips and artist footage that felt authentic to the culture, and worked with the video team to make sure everything came together visually. These videos introduced TRACE's programming to audiences across Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America, reaching now over 1M+ viewers.
Each channel has its own identity, music style and market. A demo video for TRACE Latina needed to resonate differently than one for TRACE Urban or TRACE Gospel. Each video had to capture the energy, artists, and cultural significance of its specific music scene, all while maintaining TRACE's overarching brand voice.
